This special range of tea tins was created for Nargis for the purpose of export to Russia and other CIS countries where the tea drinking culture is strong. The design for the pouch in the middle has been adapted from its previous avatar, which had been printed onto a tin.
The packaging for this range of Nargis tea uses the product shot as the main theme. A large teacup in a saucer with the key ingredient shown forms central focus while solid colour variations cue the different flavours. This pack is a gravity pack and includes a tearoff at the bottom for individual removal of teabags.
These packs were created for Nargis Black Tea. Black tea tends to be a strong blend of tea, so its aroma is depicted in a large whiff of vapour which is also in the shape of the black tea leaf. This visual hook is accompanied by a standard cup and saucer of tea lower in the pack.
